This filigree diamond pattern is especially lightweight due to the fine and delicate material from which it is made. The weight of the finished fabric is only 50.3 g/m². The draft of the wales results in a symmetrical pattern, which shows clever variations on closer inspection. The fabric is elastic and its patterning makes it particularly interesting for hosiery.
