Burn-out fabric: transparent pattern

Article Number: 2014/173
For this fabric, a material combination of a standard and a modified polyester from Reliance was chosen to obtain an airy, lightweight warp knitted fabric through burn-out technique.
A tricot lapping with the modified polyester tops the 2-bar warp knitted base fabric, a 3-course hexagonal tulle. The tricot lapping was partially removed in the form of a filigree plant motif using the burn-out method. Due to the stitch-forming tricot lapping, the remaining modified polyester stays firmly integrated after the burn-out. The use of monofil yarn in the base fabric results in a stiffness that is ideal for curtain applications.
