KARL MAYER and the Textile Makerspace presented the guests of the Techtextil from 14 to 17 May 2019 in Frankfurt am Main as an innovative industry player with a versatile field of activity. The manufacturer's stand quickly proved to be a crowd puller. On the first three days alone, around 140 talks with development potential were counted.
Especially the two topics TEXTILE-CIRCUIT and RAPID-TEXTILE met with great interest among the visitors.
TEXTILE-CIRCUIT presented a small competition arena with robots controlled by a textile remote control. During the game, the smartphones on the sidelines could be loaded with a textile charging station via induction.
RAPID-TEXTILE presented itself to a broad audience for the first time. This with an interactive screen presentation to inform about the state of the experiments and to attract attention as an innovative partner. As an exhibit, was shown a shoe, which was made by printing a certain geometry on a prestressed elastic warp knitted fabric, that forms a 3-dimensional shoe after relaxing.
