Hay Bale Nets

These lightweight polyethylene nets are ideal for securing circular hay bales, straw bales, and stabilizing pallets and boxes for safe transport. They can also stabilize silage bales when used as a net.

 The lapping technique used to produce this type of net includes a pillar stitch/inlay combination developed specifically for this application. The pillar stitch wales are spaced widely apart, as the machine operates at only one needle per inch (1 needle per 25.4 mm). The batching device allows for highly compressed net rolls with long running lengths while minimizing space. The high machine speed enables outputs of up to 1000 m/h.

Shade Nets

Shade nets are extensively used in warmer climates. They can be placed over hothouses and crops to shield seedlings and plants from strong sunlight, preventing dehydration and creating optimal growth conditions.

These nets maintain constant air circulation in greenhouses, preventing excess heat buildup.

Harvest Nets

Harvesting nets are perfect for collecting ripe fruit that falls from trees or is shaken off. They are commonly used in olive groves, where nets are placed beneath trees during the harvesting season to catch falling fruit, greatly simplifying the process.

The size of the openings can be adjusted based on the fruit size, created by varying the pillar stitch/inlay lapping. Depending on the application, the machine operates with one pillar stitch and one or more inlay guide bars, typically using polyethylene monofilaments.

Anti-Bird Nets

These nets protect fruit from birds by covering trees and fields. They are strong yet lightweight, safeguarding the fruit without hindering plant growth.

The nets generally employ two stitch-forming guide bars and feature a basic construction. The diamond-shaped openings can be adjusted by varying the repeat length of the connecting sections. The use of polyethylene tape or monofilament yarns ensures durability and longevity.

Hail Protection Nets

Anti-hailstone nets shield plants from damage caused by hail while allowing for unrestricted growth.

These nets are primarily made from polyethylene monofilaments and produced on two- or three-bar machines using simple pillar stitch/inlay constructions or more complex six-bar patterns.

Raschel Mesh Bags

Raschel mesh bags are used for packaging potatoes, cabbages, and other vegetables. Bag sizes can be adjusted to suit various products.
A packaging bag closed on three sides can be produced as an individual bag or as a bag roll for automatic filling lines, without tailoring. Adhesive strips can be added for customized sales information. The bags are typically made from polythene tapes, supplied from our FTL units.
The machine can produce panels up to 9.80 meters long with the same net construction, suitable for creating shade nets.

Fishing Nets

These universal nets can have various end-uses. For example, they can be used for sport applications or to secure loads in motor vehicles and shipping containers. Their main use however is for fish nets. The great advantage of knotless fish nets is the flat connecting area. This protects the fish better from bruising or damage.

Fine nets are used for crab traps, while coarse nets are typically preferred by fish farms. Multi-filament FDY polyester or Nylon are generally worked, but if a very durable net is required, a HMPE yarn, like Dyneema, is a better option.
