Light-weight aramid non-crimp fabric for protective clothing

Multiaxial non-crimp fabrics made of aramid are mainly used in safety applications. Due to their very high tensile strength and impact strength, they are often used as splinter protection, bullet-resistant vests, protective helmets and armor for vehicles. Such fabrics are also used in glider construction, stadium roofing, inserts for bicycle tyres and protective suits.
