Roofing by means of warp-knitted fabrics

Warp-knitted fabrics with parallel weft-insertion are increasingly being used as a roof covering for flat roofs. High-performance yarns in weft and warp yarns are knitted together and processed by means of the subsequent coating to form a stable, watertight membrane. These membranes with good properties in terms of energy efficiency and cost efficiency are used as a so-called "single-ply membrane" in the private or industrial sector.
