Benefits
-
Higher weaving efficiency through uniform thread tension, from back to front
-
Cost savings through automatic rotation of package frames and simple placing of the threads in the stop tensioner
- The creel offers the best possible design, specifically tailored to customer needs, by encompassing a wide variety of spacing programs and different accessory options
- High productivity due to maximum warping speed and reduced set-up time makes the GV-OPTOGUARD the ideal creel for processing spun yarn in direct warping
- Gentle yarn treatment due to low yarn tension level and reduced yarn friction

Machine Features
OPTOGUARD yarn tensioner
OPTOGUARD yarn tensioner with optical yarn monitoring system and simple threading facility during creel change. It has been specially developed for the direct warping of staple fibre yarns at high speed and an application range from 50 dtex to 1,700 dtex. The shape and the large jaw area treat the yarn surface gently and avoid twist push-back and thus snarling. The non-contact monitoring of the yarn and an integrated blow-off device assures a clean tensioner, even with dust-shedding yarns.
Pre-tensioner system for uniform thread tension
The pretensioner installed on the GV-OPTOGUARD automatically compensates the thread tension differences caused by the different thread lengths from the rearmost to the foremost package, permitting an uniform thread tension and winding over the entire warp width. The automatic pretensioner prevents snarling which can occur on stopping the machine. The pretensioner positions automatically depending on the phase in the warping process.
Balloon separator
Due to their structure, rotor yarns have special balloon dynamics. Ballooning is three times greater with rotor yarns than with ring spun yarns and has its maximum elongation in the spaces between package and tensioner. Two round metal rods with a smooth and friction-resistant surface achieve effective balloon reduction.
Highest productivity when processing coarse yarns. Recommended for yarn counts of dtex 420 and higher.
