Transparent pattern with special threading

This delicate fabric is produced on a HKS 4-M EL. The fine ground structure is made by two ground guide bars threaded with monofilament yarns. By varying the threading, it is possible to partially work a mesh structure. Another two ground guide bars are threaded with pure white yarn material, and produce a zigzag design onto the fabric ground. This design changes due to different threadings. The length of the pattern repeat only becomes visible when looking at the different hole sizes in the fabric ground. Responsible for making this repeat is the EL guide bar control system.
