Geogrid for the reinforcement of road constructions improves the elastic modulus of a roadbed while distributing loads for greater roadway longevity and performance. The biaxially oriented geogrid are made of glass or basalt fibres with bitumen coating and can be produced with tensile strengths up to 200kN/m. The use of Geogrids in an asphaltic pavement system reduces the risk of reflective crack formation and prevents the formation of wheel ruts.
