Light-weight carbon fabrics for low weight per unit area with high stability

These fabrics are used in the aerospace, automotive and drive technology sectors. Light carbon scrims based on spread carbon tapes make ultra-lightweight CFRP construction possible in the first place. The laid tapes in up to +/- 20° direction show a high fiber orientation with simultaneously high fiber substance utilization. By means of the binding, the draping behaviour can also be influenced.
