Light carbon scrims based on spread carbon tapes make ultra-lightweight CFRP construction possible in the first place. The laid tapes in up to +/- 20° direction show a high fiber orientation with simultaneously high fiber substance utilization. By means of the binding, the draping behaviour can also be influenced.
