To achieve this crepe-like surface a core yarn, a textured PU/PA yarn in dtex 110 f 24, was partially threaded in GB 1 and GB 2. When relaxing the fabric, a seersucker effect appears. This particular seersucker-like fabric is highly stretchable in warp and width due to the elastane (50% of the core yarn) and the lapping chosen. The stretch properties can be changed by changing the lapping of the core yarn.
