Biaxial glass non-crimp fabric with chopped glass mat

Biaxial non-crimp fabrics made of glass rovings are used in applications  where a low weight, in particular with high stiffness and strength, is required. Combining the weft layers with a chopped glass mat homogenizes the surface and establishes a good connection with the next layer. Wind power, shipbuilding, rail vehicles and sporting goods are currently among the leading applications.
