Consistent optimal yarn arrangement:

during stopping or starting, the threads between the shaft and the reversing roller may get crossed. During sizing this quite often results in yarn breaks. The automatic detangling function ensures that the thread arrangement is ­re-established immediately after start-up.

Indirect pressure with active kick-back:

the increasing yarn batch on the beam shifts the pressure roll backwards against the resistance set for contact pressure. This indirectly acting pressure ensures that completely cylindrical yarn packages are achieved at all times. Since the press roll is hydraulically driven, it will swing out of the way immediately on braking. This prevents any kind of friction between roll and yarn.
