Consistent optimal yarn arrangement:

during stopping or starting, the threads between the shaft and the reversing roller may get crossed. During sizing this quite often results in yarn breaks. The automatic uncrossing function ensures that the thread arrangement is ­re-established immediately after start-up.

Contact pressure control with active kick-back:

The increasing yarn batch on the beam positions the pressure roll according to the selected contact pressure. This directly acting contact pressure control ensures that completely cylindrical yarn packages with identical warp density are achieved at all times. The kick-back function swings the pressure roller out of the way immediately on braking. This prevents any kind of friction between roll and yarn.
