Patterned simplex fabrics
Patterned simplex fabrics are produced using two guide bars and two further pattern guide bars. A wide range of different pattern effects can be produced by working with sequential yarn threading-in, different colors, different yarn counts and materials, matt/shiny effects and different surfaces.

Fine spacer fabrics
Fine spacer fabrics ranging in thickness from1 to 4 mm can also be produced on the RD 4. The appearance and surface characteristics of the fabric to suit a range of end-uses. Also the use of elastane yarns enables versatile elastic spacer fabrics to be produced in extremely fine gauges. The spacer fabrics produced on the RD 4 have a wide range of end uses as lining materials, bra cups, outer fabrics, or for swimwear.
