RD 7 Series

Double-bar raschel machines are designed for producing spacer textiles. Depending on the type of machine, the knockover comb bars can be set variably at up to 15 mm. All the machines can be used for producing spacer textiles having a medium fineness and spacer gap. 

Textiles produced by these machines are mainly used in the shoe and mattress sectors, but also in the automotive industry. Spacer textiles are also becoming increasingly popular for seats and chairs, because they allow air to circulate.

The latest high-speed double needle bar technology for an efficient and flexible production of spacer fabrics.

With the RD 7/2-6 EN we are now offering a high-speed spacer machines, combined with our flexible EN-drive, that provides an broad design potential.

This development is focusing on an efficient production of high quality spacer fabrics for various applications with narrow range of trick plate distances, like shoe, outerwear or mattress boarders, just to name a few.

The production speed of max. 1,100 cpm makes our RD 7/2-6 EN the fastest double needle bar spacer machine on the market, providing a high productivity to adapt to changing market demands. With seven ground guide bars and trick plate distances from 2 mm up to 6 mm, this spacer machines meets to requirements of the vast majority of patterns and designs.
