German Plant and Machinery Association (VDMA) Conference and Exhibition in Brazil, 3-4.11 and 8-9.11.2010

Kurt Michael Forster, KARL MAYER’s speaker at the VDMA-Conference in Brazil

In order to make their presence felt more in the Brazilian market, the suppliers of textile technology Made in Germany will show off their achievements within the framework of two symposia. The series of papers will be presented at the two most important centres of the Brazilian textile industry: in São Paulo on 3 and 4 November and in Blumenau on 8 and 9 November.
KARL MAYER will be one of the companies from Germany which will be participating. The world market leader in warp-knitting machines and warp preparation systems will be showing the latest developments in weaving preparation and will concentrate on its short-warp concept. With the 'Compact Size' short-warp sizing machine KARL MAYER will be following its consistent policy of adapting its product schedule to market requirements. The trends here are ever-shorter product chains and higher quality requirements.
KARL MAYER has already developed high-precision and flexible models for pattern warp production and section warping. This equipment is highly successful on the market. With the takeover of Sucker and Benninger and the additional competences thus acquired, the manufacturer is now extending the end-use sector for pattern warps and short warps by developing the new, highly-efficient 'Compact Size'.
KARL MAYER is delighted with the lively interest shown in its contribution to the VDMA know-how transfer in the textile technology sector. 'By taking part in the conference in Brazil we would like to strengthen our relations with our customers and also to get to know new companies', said Kurt Michael Forster, the speaker from the Swiss subsidiary of the KARL MAYER Group. 'We are certain that we can create competitive advantages for the Brazilian manufacturers when they use our efficient warp preparation systems'.
