Your tasks
Main objectives of your job will be the identification, development and implementation of new achievement potentials and functionality options for our Business Unit 'Warp Knitting', thus, promoting the mechanical and mechatronical systems in terms of increased competitiveness. Your duties as project leader will mainly comprise the following aspects:
- Control and coordination of complex and strategic projects
- Decision-making by using the in-house project management t
ool- Forming, coordination and leading of project teams
- Investigations about and analyses of alternative technologies and methods
to be employed for warp-knitting machines
- Definition, recording and structuring of complex tasks to form a project
- Management of cross-divisional and cross-hierarchical coordination and
communication processes
- Target costing and resource allocation
- Follow-up and presentation of results
- Use of an active risk management
Your profile
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering or in mechatronics - Basic knowledge of business administration (e.g. Target Costing) - Several years of professional experience in engineering and design for the
machine building sector
- Long-standing experience in the management of complex projects
- Basic knowledge of textile technology would be desirable
- Knowledge of appropriate methods (e.g. creativity tools, decision tools,
risk management)
- Profound IT knowledge: CAD, MS-Office (desirable: SAP as well as
project management software)
- Good written and spoken command of English
- Command of Chinese would be of advantage
